Baby Croquembouche delivered safely this weekend...despite gale force winds on the south coast!!

Thats right... She Bakes did it again. a very special and beautifully petite croquembouche was created and delivered to the Ginger Pig restaurant this weekend for a client's father's birthday. 

It was touch and go whether it would make it from the delivery van to this lovely restaurant in Hove in one piece but with some clever SAS style manoeuvres from Jen and a helpful restaurant manager opening the door ....mission accomplished!!

'My Dad’s love of profiteroles is legendary in our family and I thought that a Croquembouche would be an extra special way for him to enjoy his favourite dessert on his birthday.  I literally searched “Croquembouche in Brighton/Hove” and there you were, smiling away with a chocolate Benedict Cumberbatch – you had my custom right then and there.
 Your friendly, helpful, “can do” emails settled the deal and I am so pleased that I found you – there are not a lot of people who from a simple email straight away bend over backwards for someone they have never met.
 I truly mean it when I say that you have massive talent – the Croquembouche itself was delectable, delightful and had us fighting over the last morsels.  It really did finish of my Dad’s birthday perfectly and his little delighted face when that tower of awesomeness came out was such a treat.
